Your Tampa Bay Photographer specializing in Weddings, Elopements, and Storyteller sessions for the fun-loving, wild, and down to earth. I fully believe your story deserves to be told and we should have fun capturing it!
Let me guess - you're feeling a little panic about preparing for your session!? Take a deep breath, friend. I'm going to make this easy for you!
Let me preface this by saying, this session is all about YOU. It's about your story, your love, your life. Don't forget that! Truly, if you can do anything during this session, it's just be your self. There's no one out there like you, no love like yours, no family like yours and that's what makes this so special.
At your session, we'll be capturing you exactly as you are. The fun, loving, messy, carefree, wild moments. Frolicking on the beaches of Clearwater, Florida or whichever Tampa Bay beach curbs your fancy. You first met at a coffee shop? Let's go there and recreate your first moments. Take me somewhere that holds special sentiment in your life and let's create magic there.
I promised you some advice, so here are 5 tips to get you ready for your storyteller session.
1. OUTFIT CHOICES
Collaborate with your photographer to plan your outfit based on the location and vibe that you are going for. I always recommend neutrals, as they're timeless and don't distract from you, but if you want to go with more color or pattern start with one pattern and pick colors that coordinate with it. Coordinating colors, not matching is the name of the game. Mix textures to add depth. And most importantly, collaborate with me when planning so we can make sure you look your best.

2. LOCATION
Let me help you choose a location that has sentimental value to you. Did you meet at the local coffee shop down in Clearwater? Or is your favorite date night at Honeymoon Beach? Having sentimental value attached to your images turns pretty pictures into heirloom pieces of art that you'll share with future generations. If you haven't already, fill out that questionnaire I sent you and let's hop on a call to chat.

3. HAVE A DATE NIGHT
Plan a date night or just carve out time to connect on a deeper level with each other. Hone into your love languages and what fills each other’s cups up. Is your significant other a words of affirmation type? Speak love and appreciation into them every day. Physical touch? Spend extra time each day snuggling on the couch, do a little ass grab every once in a while. Let's get your love cups OVERFLOWING. When you are feeling your best selves together your love will shine through behind the camera. We won't have to force the love, it'll just happen naturally.
4. BRING PROPS
Props can add a layer of fun and personalization to your session. Some examples; one of you is a painter, bring your easel and let's paint on the beach. Bring your guitar. Have a picnic on the beach. Let's ride bikes to the beach. Honestly, whatever your favorite thing to do together is, let's add it. For kids, this is especially important. They can get bored very easily, but if we include bubbles or balls to play with, it'll turn this into quality fun family time.
on the day of your session..
5. RELAX, HAVE FUN.
Sounds simple, right? Just before the session, I encourage you to get to a place of calmness. What brings you peace? Music? Meditation? Stillness? A long walk? Working out? Whatever that is, take a good 30 minutes to practice this. When we get to the first location, we’ll spend the beginning getting into a flow with each other then will spend the next 45 - 60 minutes exploring the area and creating magic!
Was this helpful for you? I hope that you feel a weight lifted off your shoulders. As your Tampa Bay Photographer, I'm here for you each step of the way.
