Your Tampa Bay Photographer specializing in Weddings, Elopements, and Storyteller sessions for the fun-loving, wild, and down to earth. I fully believe your story deserves to be told and we should have fun capturing it!
Christian and Lauren wanted their engagement photos to feel romantic, timeless, and a little bit like date night… From the moment we stepped onto the grounds of the Museum of Fine Arts in St. Petersburg, it felt less like “posing” and more like wandering. Like an evening spent slowly, intentionally, taking it all in together. The kind of evening where you get dressed up, hold hands between exhibits, and laugh your way through the quietest corners of the museum.
This engagement session was exactly what they were dreaming of.

Christian and Lauren were drawn to the idea of an art museum because they wanted their engagement photos to feel elevated and classic, something that would feel beautiful even decades from now. And the Museum of Fine Arts definitely delivered!!
The outside alone is a dream with all the neutral stone walls, columns, and tucked-away courtyards. When you step inside the museum, it is just as stunning though! There’s rich-colored gallery walls, gilded frames, and lots of different art to enjoy together.
There’s a photography fee and entrance fee if you’re planning to shoot inside, but it’s 100% worth it! The artwork invites you to slow down and take it in together, and the next moment you’re giggling, as you are stealing a kiss in the hallway or running hand in hand to the next piece of art.
What I loved most about Christian and Lauren in this space was how naturally they fit into it. Two people madly in love, soaking up an evening that belonged entirely to them. Their session felt like a date night, just wandering, talking and looking at beautiful art together. It was truly such an amazing evening!!

After we explored the museum, we made our way up to a rooftop parking garage nearby. The shift from classy museum interiors to city skyline was chef’s kiss and added a modern edge to the gallery.
Christian and Lauren couldn’t stop smiling, and honestly, neither could I. Also…that dip kiss with the skyline behind them at the end of the night? Iconic!

If you’re dreaming of engagement photos that feel elegant, romantic, and deeply personal, an art museum is such a beautiful option. The Museum of Fine Arts in St. Petersburg offers a stunning mix of indoor and outdoor spaces, from classic courtyards to intimate gallery rooms, all within walking distance of downtown.
